The careful selection of the types of wood forms the basis for a perfectly coordinated execution of my works. For a bowl, wooden boards are sawn into small pieces of wood and gradually joined together with glue to form individual rings. The rings are also glued to reach the height of the bowl.
The rough bowl is now clamped on the lathe machine and the actual turning work is then carried out with the chisel. Some works are also worked with the carving tools. Here I can use my imagination and revive the art of wood carving.
At the end, the work is waxed in to make it dirt-repellent and shiny.
